The Curator’s
Eye:

When the Woman Begins to Arrive First

Years ago, a dear friend of mine shared an observation that has stayed with me ever since. She was older than I was, and I remember the clarity with which she spoke about women, style, and aging.

She said that when women are younger, you often notice the clothing first. The fashion. The presentation. But as some women grow older, something begins to shift.

You start to notice the woman before what she is wearing.

Over time, I began to recognize the truth in it myself. Not because style matters less. If anything, I think style can become even more refined with time. But there is often a deeper harmony between the woman and what she chooses to wear. The clothing no longer feels separate from her. There is less performance in it and a stronger sense of alignment.

There is a kind of beauty that emerges once a woman stops dressing

This conversation continues inside the MEYVN Inner Circle.

Where style, art, and presence are explored more deeply.
