The Continuity of Style

Recently, Tracee Ellis Ross shared the office she designed with Design Within Reach for Pattern Beauty, the haircare company she founded.

The space is warm, sculptural, and thoughtfully composed. Rich woods, soft curves, sculptural furniture, and artwork that reflects culture and identity sit comfortably together. The result feels personal, expressive, and distinctly her.

But what caught my attention wasn’t simply the design.

It was the clarity behind it.

There is something interesting that happens;

when a woman has a defined sense of style. It rarely stays confined to her wardrobe.

As a stylist, I’ve often noticed that women with a strong sense of style carry that sensibility into the environments they create.

The way they dress and the way they shape their surroundings often share the same visual language.

Tracee’s office reflects qualities she has long embodied publicly. Confidence. Warmth. Individuality.

A creative spirit that values both beauty and intention.

If you’ve ever considered how your environment reflects your personal style, you’re not alone.

The spaces we create often say as much about us as the clothes we choose to wear.

This conversation continues inside the MEYVN Inner Circle.

Where style, art, and presence are explored more deeply.
