Jewelry Care

Each MEYVN piece is chosen for its sculptural form, global craftsmanship, and its ability to shift the entire mood of an outfit. With proper care, your jewelry will retain its beauty and integrity over time. The following guidelines are designed to help you preserve the character and longevity of your pieces.

General

Avoid spraying perfume or applying creams and other liquids directly onto your jewelry.
Remove pieces before bathing, swimming in salt or chlorinated water, or exercising.
Avoid impact against hard surfaces.

Storage

Keep jewelry away from direct sunlight, humidity, and extreme temperatures.
Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or its original box.
Avoid storing jewelry in bathrooms.

Cleaning

Wipe gently after each wear with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use only a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use hot water, harsh chemicals, solvents, ultrasonic cleaners, or steam.

Gold & Metallic Foils

Avoid water exposure. Moisture can make these foils porous, and regular contact with skin or liquids may lead to oxidation over time.
Keep away from perfumes, lotions, and cleaning agents.

Leather & Wood

These natural materials evolve over time—colours deepen, surfaces soften, and character matures.
Keep leather and wood away from water, heat, and prolonged sun exposure.
To refresh the surface, use a tiny amount of neutral, alcohol- and fragrance-free lotion, then wipe with a soft cloth.

Bone

Cow bone may gradually absorb natural skin oils and creams, developing a warm honey-gold patina. This evolution is normal and reflects the organic beauty of the material.

Horn

Keep horn away from water, heat, and prolonged sun. If the surface appears dull, use a tiny amount of a fragrance-free lotion with no dyes or alcohol, then wipe with a soft cloth.
